傳記電影《The United States vs. Billie Holiday》聚焦Billie Holiday 生前最後時光，反映她藥物成癮和多段情愛關係。當時她被聯邦麻醉藥品管理局（Federal Bureau of Narcotics, FBN）盯上，並與領導秘密行動的黑人聯邦特工Jimmy Fletcher 陷入熱戀。
