【游戏简介】：
OMSI 為一小型，專門設計模擬程式及相關插件等的開發組織 M-R-Software 製作。M-R-Software 由 Marcel Kuhnt 以及 Rüdiger Hülsmann 等的幾位德國人組成。他們在製作 OMSI 之前已經曾經製作過一地鐵模擬器 U-Bahn Berlin，所以他們運用過去的程式編寫經驗，在2007年2月起開始製作此遊戲。直到2011年2月18日起由 Aerosoft GmbH 發行。
OMSI（取自其德文口號「Der Omnibussimulator」中的 OMSI 四字組成，即英文「The Bus Simulator」及中文「巴士模擬器」），小型開發組織 M-R-Software 於2007年2月起開發的一款專為巴士而製作的模擬程式[1]，並於2011年發行正式版。
與Midtown Madness 2不同的是，OMSI 製作對象為想模擬駕駛巴士的玩家，而 Midtown Madness 2 則為想進行賽車模擬的玩家。因此，OMSI 中的一些特別為巴士而設的功能都並不在後者程式中存在（雖然可以以額外的模擬器製作相近效果）。
•功能
為了給予玩家有最完善的模擬體驗，OMSI 在很多項目中都有製作詳細的模擬效果，當中一些功能是Midtown Madness 2沒有的。
•日間/黑暗效果；
•氣候系統（溫度、濕度、風速、雲層高度、雲量、雨/雪量等）；
•反射效果；
•材質透明效果；
•曲直、高低起伏容易修改的道路；
•可自由調節部份地表範圍高度來建造山、海灣；
•巴士的幾乎所有功能都可以以內建的程式語言編寫出來，等等。
附加檔(Addons)
場景
由於OMSI為開放系統，並設有編輯器及系統開發部件（SDK - Software Development Kit）等的程式。這使香港以至外國大大少少的組織在 OMSI 發行不久後已經推出一些大型或小型的場景。包括本身程式預設提供的 Berlin Spandau，至今已公開的場景有：
•Tai Po City
•Grundorf （修改版）
•Meisendorf
•Pilzdorf
•Map 423+23E
Berlin Spandau
此場景為現今OMSI界中最大規模的城市之一，為模擬 1988 年時並未經歷兩德統一的西柏林斯潘達（Spandau）區，由 BVG 營運的 92、92E 及 13E 巴士線。
巴士
由於OMSI中的 MAN SD200 及 SD202 車輛中對每個檔案的英文解說不足（甚至沒有）。在現時為止，大多數玩家都以修改材質圖片為主。
